# Third-party attribution and provenance

Checked **2026-10-26** against the actual public repository LICENSE files before vendoring. Complete license texts are retained in `licenses/`; SHA-256 and exact immutable source URLs are in `sources.json`.

## Three.js — MIT

Copyright © 2010–2026 three.js authors. Engine source and derived local bundle retain the MIT permission and warranty notice in `licenses/three-MIT.txt`.

- Repository: https://github.com/mrdoob/three.js
- Pinned commit: `8dbbf1d4a1e08aa990cae0c9dbd02e04eef03a09`
- Commit date: 2026-10-26T11:37:33Z, current upstream head at check time.
- Exact license: https://github.com/mrdoob/three.js/blob/8dbbf1d4a1e08aa990cae0c9dbd02e04eef03a09/LICENSE
- Sources: `build/three.module.js`, `build/three.core.js`; bundled to IIFE using the already installed video-kit esbuild. No engine source edits.
- Scope: actual clay mesh scene and full-screen ray-marching shader. The Menger shader and scene setup are original local code, not copied Shadertoy snippets.

## HyperFrames — Apache-2.0

HyperFrames contributors / HeyGen. Full license retained in `licenses/hyperframes-APACHE-2.0.txt`.

- Repository: https://github.com/heygen-com/hyperframes
- Pinned commit: `2d1b5cfbd2ffff65bdd342d78ce64a7dd36c4695`
- Commit date: 2026-10-26T14:16:23Z, current upstream head at check time.
- Exact license: https://github.com/heygen-com/hyperframes/blob/2d1b5cfbd2ffff65bdd342d78ce64a7dd36c4695/LICENSE
- Six unmodified files are retained under `upstream/hyperframes/` with their original header comments: ascii-render-pass, ordered-dither-pass, caption-neon-glow, rgb-glitch-text, halftone-dissolve, caption-kinetic-slam.
- **Modification notice:** `effects.js` adapts the recursive Bayer-matrix section of ordered-dither-pass into a standalone function. The original matrix logic is preserved; variable naming, wrapper and returned flattened array differ. Other gallery effects are original local implementations. The bundled components provide reusable richer video counterparts, not an assertion that the gallery executes all six upstream timelines.
- Those upstream HTML files reference GSAP and Google Fonts. They are not redistributed here as bundled dependencies and are not loaded by the gallery. Localize separately in a video project under their own licenses. Do not confuse the component's Apache license with a license for external dependencies.

## Existing kit and design resources

The installed student kit is an existing reference, not newly vendored source. Its MIT license was verified at https://github.com/nateherkai/herk-edit-kit/blob/10511e5af86fc47756ea89803b397422e2d89284/LICENSE (the former hyperframes-student-kit repository redirects there). Commit date 2026-10-14T12:51:10Z; checked 2026-10-26. The registry search returned 448 entries and 73 word matches for the requested vocabulary. No new skill/plugin installation was needed.

No GPL, AGPL, LGPL, NC, no-license, Commons-Clause or Shadertoy code is included. No MPL files are used. The screenshot supplies style names only; it grants no license to Instagram media, and none was downloaded. Original local kit code is available for the owner's reuse; this file does not relicense third-party sources or authorize publishing the owner's private work.
